Thanksgiving Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!

I am always happy about the Thanksgiving holiday. What’s not to love? It is a time shared with family, friends, good food, playing games, good football, and awesome shows that mark the official start of the holiday season.

We know that the annual Thanksgiving holiday is a time for us to reflect on what we are grateful for. A tradition some have is to go around the table and state one thing you are grateful for before digging into the feast. How about changing it up this year? Think of a creative way to share what you are grateful for.

  • How about drawing names and share what you love about the person whose name you received? Share it with the family as a group activity.
  • Another idea could be ask people to write something prior to getting together and give it to the person at the Thanksgiving gathering.
  • Create a Thankful board? Get a piece of foamboard and encourage your family and friends to write something they are thankful for on the board. Make it a project and have fun decorating.
  • Gratitude Pictionary sounds fun! Doesn’t it?

Get your creative juices flowing. The possibilities are endless. I am joining with you with the intention that we all be loved, we will all be safe, and we all will be happy, but most of all, that we all be grateful this Thanksgiving season.
